What is the Mac 4x4 Challenge?

The Macmillan 4x4 Challenge is a long distance off-road event covering up to 1,000 miles with green lane, night navigation and trial sections. It will start on Friday 7th March 2008 and will end on the evening of Sunday 9th. The event is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Full details of the Mac4x4 2008 can be found by visiting the official Mac4x4 website.

Why the Mac 4x4?
We have recently been touched by the work of the Macmillan nurses and the hospice staff and feel that we need to do something. By competing in this event we hope to raise money for a worthy cause and also have some fun doing so.

This will be the third Mac4x4 challenge and my first as Navigator. We aim to successfully complete the challenge raising as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support
